Guo Boxiong, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, met on 27 the second day of his official visit to Cuba, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, according to the official agenda.

The agenda includes a tour of the great unity of glory fighting Sanguily Rescue, Order Antonio Maceo.

At the beginning of the holiday on Wednesday, invited by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, also vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China met with First Deputy Minister of the Defense Agency, Army Corps General Leopoldo Cintra.

Guo laid a wreath at the tomb of independence fighter Antonio Maceo (1845-1896), in the mausoleum that holds his remains in the Cacahual, about 20 miles south of Havana.

The high Chinese official and broad delegation accompanying him visited also the Chinese hospital ship "Peace Ark", which ended a six-day visit to Havana harbor as part of a tour that will continue in Jamaica, Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago.
