Program on Cuba kicks off Kiwanis travelogue season on Oct. 4. Thursday, September 29, 2011, 10:45 AM. Deborah Storey, The Huntsville Times. HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- The Kiwanis Club of Huntsville kicks off its new travelogue season on Oct. 4 with a program on Cuba.
"A Road Trip from Havana to Santiago de Cuba" is the first narrated travel film in the 2011-2012 season.
Kiwanis presents programs narrated by world travelers at Trinity United Methodist Church, 607 Airport Road. All are on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $7 adults, $6 seniors, free for high school students and younger. Call 256-536-3029 for information.
The next travelogue is "Best of Bavaria" on Nov. 8, followed by "Wales, the Land of Song" on Feb. 7, "China - the 21st Century" on March 6 and "Journey around the World" on April 3.
Proceeds go to community service programs.
