Cuba Celebrates World Sexual Health Day

By: Ileana Ferrer Fonte.13:57Havana, Sep 2 (Prensa Latina) With the presentation of books and audiovisual materials, Cuba on Friday begins its observance of World Sexual Health Day, which is Sept. 4. 

Activities include the launch of "Sida: Nuevas confesiones de un medico" (AIDS, New Confessions of a Doctor), a book by Dr. Jorge Perez, who relates the true stories of families of HIV-positive people.

Other events include a Sexual Health Fair for Saturday, and the Sunday screen of an animated series, Pubertad (Puberty), which in a pleasant way depicts the psychological, social and hormonal changes of that important stage of life.

Activists and experts on the issue will participate in all events, sponsored by the National Sex Education Center (CENESEX).
