Luanda — The Angolan national boxing team are travelling on Wednesday to the Republic of Cuba, to hold a 50-day training programme, ahead of their participation in the Pan-African Games set for September in Maputo.

This was said to Angop by the secretary general of the Angolan Boxing Federation (FABOXE), Luís Gregario.

According to him, the team worked the physical condition in the country since April and they will improve technical and tactical aspects in Havana city.

Luís Gregario said that the national delegation is comprised by 18 members such as athletes, coaches and physicians.

Check the summoned athletes: Alfredo Sassa, Bacu Mvemba, Inocêncio Marques, Luvumbu Jarni, Mafisi Kiabua, Manuel André, Norberto de Castro, Vidal Gaieta, Victor Adriano, Vivaldo Rodrigues, Herick Lando and Tumba Silva.
