On Sunday, May 30th, the Free the Cuban 5 Committee - Victoria will be tabling in downtown Victoria to raise awareness about the case of the Cuban 5 political prisoners held in US jails.

This will be our third time setting up a table in downtown Victoria and we are asking all peace loving people to sign the postcard demanding Barack Obama Free the Cuban 5 Now!

We encourage all peace loving people in Victoria to join us on May 30th in this campaign to free the Cuban 5 heroes, a campaign that is needed very urgently in this crucial time in their case.

Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González and René González, have been unjustly imprisoned in U.S. Jails for over 11 years.

Their so-called crime was investigating U.S. sponsored right wing, anti-Cuban terrorist organizations in Miami that are responsible for the deaths of over 3,400 innocent Cuban people.

Since their unjust imprisonment, on 10 separate occasions the U.S. government has denied entry visas to Adriana Perez, wife of Gerardo Hernandez and Olga Salanueva, wife of Rene Gonzalez, to visit their imprisoned husbands. It has been almost 12 years since they last embraced.
