The Latino Baseball Hall of Fame will induct its first class later this month at Casa de Campo, home of the Dodgers' training academy in the Dominican Republic.

And among the 25 players, broadcasters and officials  to be enshrined are  Dodgers Spanish-language broadcaster Jaime Jarrin -- already enshrined in Cooperstown -- and former Dodgers owner Peter O'Malley.

O'Malley will enter the Hall as the recipient of the Tom Lasorda Award, recognizing an outstanding non-Latino personality.

Former Angel Rod Carew, who was born in Panama, will be among the player inductees.

The rest of the Hall's first class are:

Roberto Clemente (Puerto Rico); Juan Marichal (Dominican Republic); Luis Aparicio (Venezuela); Orlando Cepeda (Puerto Rico);

Tony Perez (Cuba); Martin Dihigo (Cuba); Jose de la Caridad Mendez (Cuba); Cristobal Torriente (Cuba); Alejandro Pompez
