A Cuban Delegation of the José Martí Cultural Society was in Portugal for the 4th Cuban Culture Week.

In the opening section, Rafael Polanco, vice-president of the José Martí Cultural society, gave a master dissertation on the Cuban National Hero and his political thinking.
There was also inaugurated an itinerant Cuban plastic and photo exhibition by the painter Agustín García, according to the web site of the José Martí Portal, from the Center for the Study of Martí.
On the other hand, an important Cuban movie cycle is being exhibited everyday in theaters from Vila Real.
There are also presentations from the musical group Calle Cuba and those enjoying the event are also trying traditional Cuban dishes.
