The 13 themes record was recorded at the EGREM studios in Havana and was edited by the German Enja Records and by Montuno with the musicians Javier Zalba, Ramses Rodríguez and Omar Ginzales and with the participation of the African singer Mayra Andrade and the US guitar player Raúl Midó.

Themes of the record Akokan will be performed at the concert the group Temperamento will offer next 23 of June at 8-30pm at the Havana theatre Mella.
