Government of the Mexican capital decreed the end of the influenza A (H1N1) health alert on Friday
After the announcement, the Federal District's Mayor, Marcelo Ebrard, informed that no new contagious cases have been reported for a week, so it is no longer necessary to use masks in public places.

The mayor said there is no need to be worried now, but called to maintain the health control to prevent the disease from once again gaining strength in the country, where 78 people have died and 4,000 others infected.

The World Health Organization reported the influenza has spread to 41 countries, with over 10,000 cases.
