Azerbaidzhan and Cuba will enhance economic and commercial ties at the 2nd Intergovernmental Commission on May 18-19. Cuban Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marcelo Caballero said both countries will assess cooperation, among other, in technology, trade, tourism, sports and culture.

In Baku, Guerrero will meet with the ministers for culture and tourism, health, sports and industry and energy, and will visit places of scientific, economic and historic interest.

The 1st Intergovernmental Commission met in Havana late November, 2007.
