The exhibition is sponsored by the City Historian’s Office, directed by Eusebio Leal, and has the cooperation of the Louvre, the French Embassy, the French Assoaciation (Alianza Francesa), as well as the National Museum of Fine Arts.
In November 2007, that same scenario, the exterior fences of the Castillo de la Real Fuerza, exhibited pictures from the 27 capitals of the European Union (UE).
The Castillo de la Real Fuerza (1581), is the oldest standing military fort in Cuba and in Latin America, and above all, its bell tower is crowned with La Giraldilla, an old weather vane that became a symbol of the City of Havana.
