Forty members of the Japanese delegation will demonstrate surgical techniques and give lectures at the Oncology Institute and Center of Surgical Endoscopy.

They will also donate medical equipment and meet with specialists in the fields of rehabilitation and agriculture.

The group was sent off by Cuban Ambassador to Japan Jose Fernandez de Cossio, who thanked the Committee for developing ties in this field for the past 20 years.
