From the 29 of March until the 2nd of April, with the sponsor of the Havana Culture Direction and the Latin American Journalist Federation. The event will be held also in Havana City.

This meeting is proponed to save the specie in a world which talks about carbon emissions with greenhouse effect and climate change, media manipulation, deforestation, desertification, inequalities, wars and xenophobia. A planet in which irrationality of privileges to maintain richness is moving freely and food is becoming energy is called to those who make people laugh and think. The more and more stomachs of the hungry people of earth protest in front of the dangers of the rainforests, forests and the air we breathe. We call to the graphic humorists to defend mankind.

Awards

Eduardo Abela Award which consists of a Diploma and 1000 CUC
First, second and third prices in each category with a Diploma.
Other Cuban Cultural institutions will deliver awards.

Meetings of humorists

From the 29 of March until the 2nd of April will be held theoretical workshops of artistic creation in San Antonio de los Baños and Havana, in which the participants will be able to exchange experiences, make their work famous (not leave your portfolio at home) and reflect about th role of the graphic humor in the XXI century. We will also take part in the opening of graphic humor exhibitions.
