Finished the first provisional houses for the families whose homes were lost because of Paloma Hurricane
In a record amount of time, members of Engineering Brigade No.15 cleared and fulfilled the five projected blocks; afterwards, constructors from all over the province erected the unusual but solid houses: precast concrete foundations, strong columns and wooden walls; the fiber-and-cement tiles have been hooked to the metallic roof structure. The houses are the provisional shelter for these families who will remain there until the new buildings are finished.

The new neighborhood, across from Santa Cruz del Sur railroad station, will host 160 families temporarily; as soon as they move to their definitive residences, new families will occupy the houses for good.
