The tournament was disputed at the Fittja Sport Complex, under the slogan “Against the Blockade and for the Release of the Cuban Five.”

The competition was organized by sport and cultural Lautaro IFK, which sponsors a tournament called “Cuba Cup” every year, in solidarity with the Caribbean island.

In the opening of the competition Cuban Embassy counsellor Caridad Perez said that the 3rd World Solidarity Campaign with Cuba in Sweden was concluding with this tournament after having started on September 12.

The tournament counted on the participation of teams Santiago Wanderers A and B, Southern Cross, Lautaro IFK, Rena Hallen AB and Radio Bahia, with Lautaro IFK as winner, after beating Southern Cross in an extra time, with Santiago Wanderers B as third.
