In a room completely filled with public, where extra seats had to be placed on the sides, Madrigal developed a program that made evident his great interpretative qualities and which was made up by pieces by Brahms and Alberto Ginastera on its first part.
In a second moment, he performed Cuban pieces by Manuel Saumell, Ignacio Cervantes, Ernesto Lecuona, Carlos Fariñas, José María Vitier and by his contemporary and colleague Aldo López Gavilán.
This presentation, which is part of the Cuban Culture Event that takes place every year in Italy, is also inserted in the concert season Bibli in Music, organized by the Society Mrs. Filarmonica Proyectos Musicales from Rome.
Marcos Madrigal recently achieved the First Award in the III International Piano Competition Cittá di Avezzano and he is currently a student from the International Piano Academy of Lago Como, where he is being taught by the famous professor William Grant Naboré.
