Its annual encounters are centered on the exhortation to carry out, to promote, and to share scientific investigations, as well as educational experiences that elevate each associate's professional training.

For the execution of these goals, retired and active experienced professors give psycho-pedagical training to to the Integral General Professors, in the high schools.

The pedagogical training of the Association includes conferences, workshops, and postgraduate courses, besides the distance learning by means of CD.

This year 84 professors graduated as Master of Sciences in Education in Las Tunas as part of the first massive graduation of this specialty, as long as more than one hundred of them are in different stages of that degree.

The Association of Educators of Cuba, constituted on March 6, 1989, counts at this moment with more than 31, 000 members who cooperate with the diagnosis and solution to problems of pedagogy.
