Brigades of skilled workers repaired the damage on pipes and roofs, thus creating conditions to resume cement production.

The plant is producing and selling cement, and will soon start producing clinker, which is the cement base after being melted in the furnace and which is milled later to make cement.

Factory executives said the plant is working 12-14-hour shifts to meet the growing domestic demand for cement.
