The group will begin its tour with a gala entitled “Concert of Solidarity,” aimed at collecting funds for the victims of hurricanes Gustav and Ike in Cuba.
Cuban rhythms are highly enjoyed in this African nation, since salsa — that combination of Caribbean music rhythms— is always present in popular celebrations.
Many Angolans dance “Casino” (salsa), which arrived in Angola with the thousands of Angolan youngsters who studied in Cuba.
