Díaz reaffirmed Cuba’s commitment with the learning of the Spanish language of the young Chinese students, and spoke about how they adapt themselves to their new life and assimilate knowledge.
For his part, the Chinese minister highlighted the international prestige of Cuba’s education system and expressed his confidence in the success of joint projects.
The two officials ratified their willingness to expand cooperation in the field of education, with the certainty that the effort will have an impact of mutual benefit for the development of the two countries.
Also participating in the meeting were officials and leaders from the Chinese Ministry of Education, Cuba’s ambassador to China, Carlos Miguel Pereira, and other members of the Cuban diplomatic mission in that Asian nation.
