Mexico and Cuba have won new medals in the 13th Paralympic Games
In the seventh day of competition, Mexico won two gold medals, one by 50 meter Freestyle swimmer Patricia Valle, and the other by 100 meter sprinter Perla Bustamante, plus a bronze by Mario Santillan in the 5000 meter race.

With that result, the Mexican delegation is fourteenth in the medal table, with 7-2-5.

Meanwhile, Cuba has obtained another silver medal, the second by runner Lazaro Raschid, this time in the 1500 meter race, while 200 meter sprinter Arian Iznaga, and 100 meter sprinter Luis Felipe Gutierrez contributed another two bronze medals.

That way, Cuba occupies the sixteenth position, with 5-3-6.

Brazil also had a good day with medals in swimming and track and field, where Lucas Prado had the gold in 200 meters, and Terenzhina Guilhermina the bronze in 400 meters, and Veronica Almeida was third in 50 meter butterfly style.

Brazil thus has 11 gold medals, 8 silver, and 12 bronze, occupying the eleventh place.

The paralympic medal table is so far headed by China (49-48-33), followed by Great Britain (38-21-23), and the US (25-19-21).
