Cuban singer Omara Portuondo one of the dearest voices in Cap Roig festival
The bride of filing thanks it with her record Gracias (Thank you). This record will be edited in October and was recently presented at the Cap Roig festival.

A concert that gives Catalonia back a show that goes up for the first time to the stage of the Cap Roig, an occasion which the own singer said «it will not be the last one».

The artist was accompanied in the stage by several musicians, such as the Indian Trilok Gurtu, the Israeli bass player, Avishai Cohen, the Brazilian guitar player Swami Jr and the Cubans Roberto Fonseca and Andrés Coayo in the piano and percussion respectively.

She performed a repertoire that included every song that has been important for the singer. Pieces that are sang in her record by some of her friends, such as Pablo Milanés, Jorge Drexler or Silvio Rodríguez among many others.

She did not forget either the classics of her repertoire, such as Veinte años, Guantanamera, Nuestro gran amor, Vuela pena, and Drume negrita, a crib song with African references, Portuondo keeps deep in her heart.
