On Friday 8th, the workers of the "26 de Julio" Cement Works in the municipality of Nuevitas received the writers and singers members of the Crusade, who were reading texts and singing songs.
In the village of Vilató, in the municipality of Sierra de Cubitas will be taking place the circle "Y dice una mariposa", hosted by Ada Zayas- Bazán and in which the writers Nelson Simón, José García Nordelo, Geovanis García and Niurkis Pérez are to take part.
The Casa del Joven Creador, the EJO Project and the subsidiary to the Association of Cuban Writers and Artists in the city of Camagüey will become spaces for recitals and concerts by troubadours, besides the literary gathering "La nave de los locos", dedicated to the poet Emilio Ballagas.
The event will be brought to an end with the sowing of a tree in the Casino Campestre, the biggest urban park in Cuba, on the morning of day 13th and in the night will take place a concert in honor to the 22nd anniversary of the Brothers Saíz Association.
The fifth series of the Literary Crusade carried out by writers began in the Camagüey province and will last until next August 13th.
With a program that includes visits to the different municipalities of the region, the event will be having today and tomorrow the children club Los deseos cumplidos, in the community of San Blas, in the province capital city, and Niñerías in the Cuatro Caminos community, in Najasa.
