This homage is part of others the prima ballerina assoluta has received since her arrival to that South American nation July 23, as part of celebrations in occasion of the 60th anniversary of the performance of Giselle by Alonso in Caracas.

The Venezuelan theater, academics and culture figures in this nation has attended homage to the founder of the Cuban dance company, which included a photo exhibition on the dancer and exchanges to foster artistic ties.

Also on the list was the multimedia "Latin American presence in the world ballet," compiling the artist's experiences, memories and declarations.
