Pelegrín had the chance of showing his work at the Grenadine House, as well as making an official opening of painting and ceramic at the National Trust, where the Charge d´Affairs highlighted the support and gratitude to the Vincentine Government and to the Organizing Committee of the Vincy Mas Carnival, for establishing a link between the both cultures, wishing a long life to the relationships between the Caribbean people and Cuba and to the relationships between Cuba and Saint Vincent.
Pelegrin received and shared the praises and experiences with the national and foreign artists who visited the exhibition.
Ms. Eloise Gonsalves, representing the Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, Selmon Walters, the Minister of rural transformation, information, postal services and ecclesiastic matters, Dr. Douglas Slater, Minster of Public Health and Environment, Dexter Rose, Vincentine Ambassador in Cuba and members of the Organising Committee of the Carnival, as well as plastic artists were present on the opening ceremony.
National media followed the opening exhibition of Pelegrin, the Cuban painter, and fully repeat it in the national news service.
