In this provincial city, about 690 kilometers to the east of Havana, the program also includes visits to schools, houses for orphan children and for grandparents, daycares, the botanical garden, cultural, tourist and recreational institutions, and exchange with combatants, according to a wire from the Cuban News Agency in Las Tunas.
The brigade will also travel to the municipality of Manati, at the north of the territory, to witness the final of the soccer cup Fabio Di Celmo, and will visit the house of the singer Barbarito Diez.
Puerto Padre and its attractive beaches, to 100 kilometers of Las Tunas and some 800 of Havana, are others of the places selected to be visited by the Italians that will leave toward their country at the end of next week.
The Italians went the medical school, Zoilo Marinello, in this city, where they place a floral wreath to his countryman Giovanni Ardizzone, medicine student, murdered in 1962 in Milan, when he participated in a manifestation in defense of Cuba.
