Successfully held in Greece in April, the exhibition consists of artworks that belong to the Museum's fund, some of which have never been shown before. The paintings were created by Aurelio Medero, Mariano Rodriguez, Esteban Chartrand, Sanz Carta and Fidelio Ponce, among other artists.
The Bay of Havana and other coastal areas are represented in their maximum splendor in the exhibition, which will close on October 20 to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the Museum's reopening.
In addition, "Cartographies of an Overseas Island", consisting of 22 sculptures and installations from the Spanish colonial period and the 1980s and 1990s, will be inaugurated in July as well.
The exhibition includes 22 artworks by European and Cuban painters, including Alexis Leyva (Kcho), Antonio Eligio Fernandez (Tonel), Rene Francisco and Sandra Ramos.
