The Cuban filmmaker Alfredo Guevara one of the founders of the New Latin American Cinema and chairman of the Havana Festival is writing his memoirs.
Guevaras future memoirs will be the main event for the historians of the Cuban Revolution and its charismatic leader because this author witnesses the firs steps of Fidel Castro as a political figure in moments in which, according to conversation with Ignacio Ramonet, he arrived to the university being a "politics illiterate".
Alfredo Guevara accompanied Fidel Castro in his experience of the Bogotazo in 1948, in the struggles for the cleaning of politics and the republic.
In year 1959 among the first appointment of the winning Revolution was that of Guevara, Order of the Honor Legion of France, as president of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry.
