He assured that many people and organizations in his country are interested in making good use of and protecting natural sources, as a way to improve the people's quality of life.
The Haitian senator highlighted explained that there are many mountains in his country with summits of up to 2, 400 meters high, which constitute a major source of forest biomass. He also noted the country's potential to develop the hydroelectric plants.
We believe that the Cuban experience will also contribute to lowering contamination levels with the treatment of residuals, the use of wind-based energy and the production of biogas, said Roumer.
