The new collaboration between both legendary figures from Cuban music appeared on Portuondos request, who shared the stage for several years with the well known Lady Feeling, from the Mil Diez Broadcasting Station and the Las DAida quartet.

The famous record company EGREM was in charge of producing a single with the song Señora sentimiento (Lady Feeling) especially composed by O'Farrill for this anniversary.

The young pianist Rolando Luna and the violin player Osiris Valdés take part in the project, which was exclusively accessed by Cubasí.cu.

Ela O'Farrill, a composer and singer, was born in Santa Clara on February 28, 1930. She studied in the School for Teachers from Santa Clara. Afterwards she moved to Havana and took guitar lessons in 1950 with César Portillo de la Luz, as well as harmony and composition in 1964 with Enrique Beliver and Vicente González-Rubiera Guyún.

During the 1960s she moved to Mexico City. O'Farrill is the author of the songs No tienes por qué criticar (You dont have to criticize), Cuando pasas tú (When you go by), Ni llorar puedo ya (I cant even cry) and her very well known theme Adiós, felicidad (Goodbye, happiness).
