Cuban Deputy Health Minister, Joaquim Garcia Reaffirms Cooperation in Health Domain with Angola

Speaking to ANGOP, the deputy minister noted that his visit to Angola, at the invitation of the State secretary for Higher Education, aims, mainly, to share experience towards the creation of an academy specialised in health.
"We are discussing important matters linked to expanding of cooperation between the two governments in the health domain and perspective for the implementation of programmes of training of Angolans in health and the opening of five new higher education institutions this year", said Joaquim Salavarria.
The Cuban deputy minister of Health will visit the provinces of Cabinda, Benguela, Huambo and others that will benefit from construction of higher education schools.
Joaquim Salavarria, who has already met with the State secretary for Higher Education, Adão Nascimento and Angola's Heath minister, Rubens Sicato, will also visit the Faculty of Medicine, and see health officials.
