China and Cuba sign new agreements in the Energy Sector

During the visit by the Cuban delegation, companies from both countries have been entering into agreements, including an accord to renew the contract for the supply of Cuban nickel to China. Other agreements involve the exchange technicians and products with entities in the oil sector.
The Cuban minister also held talks with the Asian firms Tisco, the Jinchuan Group LTD and CPTD; visited facilities for the production of stainless steel in the city Taiyuan, in Shanxi Province; and participated in the Tenth World Conference on this metal.
Now in Beijing, she toured the Electric Power Distribution Center and the Energy Control and Distribution Center.
García Vera said she felt very satisfied with the results and with the interest on the part of the Chinese for deepening exchanges with Cuba.
