Photo exhibit on Cuban Revolution opens in Germany

A photo exhibition entitled 'Cuba: Portraits of a Revolution' was recently inaugurated at the prestigious PhoenixArt gallery in Hamburg, Germany.
The exhibition, which has become an important element of the cultural life of this big city on the northern coast of Germany, is made up of 200 photos and 100 posters that bear witness to the heroic deed carried out by the Cuban people almost 50 years ago and reflect some of the main historic moments of the 1960's on the island.
The exhibition shows the work of renowned photo artists such as Alberto Korda, Raul Corrales, Osvaldo and Roberto Salas, and Liborio Nodal, who participated in the inauguration along with Cuba's Ambassador to Germany, Gerardo Peñalver and renowned German collector Harald Falckenberg.
