In statements to Granma daily, the writer Miguel Barnet, one of the organizing coordinators, specified the event will be focused on looking in greater depth at UNEAC's influence on Cuban social life.
For this purpose, work groups are already selected to tackle such issues as the relationship between culture and society, a group led by critic Helmo Hernandez.
Community activities, media, art teaching, national and international projection, culture, tourism and Cuban social environment are some of the issues to debate.
Meanwhile the committee dedicated to assist the of ALBA (Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas) cultural area is already functioning, led by poet and essayist Nancy Morejon.
