Venezuela and Cuba are conducting feasibility studies to define a joint project on tourism in the Chinese marketplace, Venezuelan Vice-Minister of Quality and Tourist Training David Rojas reported.
The official recalled that the partnership is part of a bilateral cooperation agreement which is in the assessment stage, official news agency ABN quoted.
During the 2006 Caracas International Tourism Fair (Fitcar), Rojas disclosed some issues, such as joining efforts through business offices, taking into account that Cuba has already two of such agencies in China.
"China is one of the most promising markets in the future. So far, numbers can be hardly estimated," Rivas maintained.
