Spain s Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos is expected to start a visit to Cuba on April 1, invited by his Cuban counterpart Felipe Perez Roque, Granma newspaper reports on Thursday.

According to the daily, Moratinos is due to come accompanied by several top officials from the Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ministry he presides over.

The source also states that the aim of his visit is to hold official talks with his Cuban colleagues and other leaders from the State and Government, as well as visit sites of cultural and historic interest.
