28th Festival of the New Latin American Cinema of Havana
A wide filmography with deep social arguments are present at the 28th Festival of the New Latin American Cinema of Havana, according to reports of the organizers.

The topics go from the dram of street children, the constant conflict of the emigrations, and the contradictions of the human being with himself and his environment, the self discovery of the individual and the agony produced by wars.

Both the competition movies as well as the parallel samples, offer an analysis of the reality that goes to the essence of the treated problems, but always from the way the men see his reality, assumes it, resigns or fight to change it.

La corta vida de José Antonio Gutiérrez (The short life of José Antonio Gutiérrez), TAG/TRAUM Filmproducktion, is the story of a boy from Guatemala, who joins the US army and dies in Iraq as a hero of that armed corp.

In the synopsis, the creators warn that it is a real case of an émigré and not a simple story of somebody who try to find a way to survive.

Noticias lejanas (far away news), by Ricardo Benet, tells the story of a young men from Mexico, who grow up believing it is possible to avoid the geographical misfortune and moves to the city.

La pared (The Wall), by Alejandro Gil (Cuba), tells the story of the decision taken by the main role of locking himself because he does not understand the humanity, while La Perrera (The dog pound), reveals a singular fight to survive in a new world.

Todos los niños invisibles (All invisible kids) are eight stories, made by the same number of filmmakers, who try to reflect the world of millions of children, victims of the outrage of the basic rights.

The movie made by MK Film Production and RAI Cinema, tells the story of eight little boys who are bad feed, without education or health, who does not have a name, who are beat, sexually abused and excluded.

The exhibition of German, Spanish and French cinema and the documentaries, reveal the complexities of the human relations, the inquiries in the historical past, the moral responsibility and the migration.

This edition of the Festival of the New Latin American Cinema of Havana, will be until the 15 of December, when the Coral Prices in six specialties (fiction, opera prima, documentary, animation, poster and unpublished script) will be awarded.
