Cuba and UN protect endemic bird

Cuban experts report the UN is currently carrying out a conservation project for Aratinga euops, an endemic bird in danger of extinction. Cuba has reduced the use of chemical pesticides by 50 percent replacing them with biological products and favoring the development of natural enemies of insects that plague crops.
