Namibia's Foreign Minister Marco Hausiku starts Tuesday his third visit to Cuba, fulfilling an invitation from his Cuban counterpart Felipe Perez Roque, Granma newspaper reported.
An example of the excellent ties of friendship and cooperation existing between both countries, this relationship began before independence in Namibia, when Cuban and African combatants pitted against the Apartheid regime, the daily stated.
Cuba and Namibia established diplomatic relations on March 21, 1990, and as a result of that, nearly 1,300 students from that African nation have been graduated in the island.
Hausiku's agenda includes meeting with Perez Roque and the island's authorities, as well as visiting sites of historic and social interest.
