Azcuy won the titles of the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games, in Atlanta (USA) and Sydney (Australia) respectively, and the crowns of the 2001 World Championship and the 1995 World Cup.

He also has 7 Pan American titles, two Pan American Wrestling Championship titles, and one Central American gold medal.

The names of those athletes finally selected will be published Wednesday in a ceremony at the Tianhe Sports Center, the scenery of the 2006 World Championship now.

Entering the Wrestling Hall of Fame, opened in 1912, based in the US city of Stillwater, is the highest recognition given by the International Wrestling Federation.
