In the nearly six-hour meeting held on Tuesday, both statesmen reaffirmed the "extensive and increasing relations between the two countries, peoples and leaders and the promissory possibilities of future development of those links," the Cuban TV main newscast reported.
Their agenda also included analysis of bilateral development programs, integration advances through the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas, results of the Energy Revolution in both nations, climate change and other important challenges for humanity.
