Two of Cuba's best synchronized swimmers will start training in Aruba this month, as part of their preparation for next year's competitions.

Kenia Pérez and Yamisleidis Romay, who compete in the duet modality, will travel to Aruba, accompanied by Coach Ivette Bacallao, as part of sports collaboration between the two countries.

During the training, which will take place at the Club Barracuda Sincro, the Cubans will also contribute their experience to local experts.

In the duet modality, Cuba has a good opportunity to win medals at the Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2007. The rest of the Island's team will continue to train in Havana.

Bacallao noted that there is a chance to train in Barcelona (Spain) early next year, and to compete in the World Championship in March.
