CONCACAF, the FIFA regional soccer confederation for the Caribbean, Central and North America, has announced that the island of Martinique will be hosting the games for Group I in the second round of the Caribbean Zone Qualifications for the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.The different groupings for the second round and the host countries were made public Wednesday by CONCACAF. Cuba had requested to host their group but lost out to group rivals Martinique who along with Haiti and Surinam and will play between November 8-12 in Group I

Group G is comprised of Barbados (host), Bahamas, Bermuda and San Vicente and the Grenadines. Group H includes Guyana (host), Antigua and Barbuda, Dominican Republic and Guadalupe.

According to the CONCACAF website, two teams from each group will automatically advance to the final round in Trinidad and Tobago to be played from January 31 to February 11, 2007. The third place finishers in each group will meet in December with the winner obtaining a ticket to Trinidad.
