Cuba House, another bridge with Malaysia
An ancient colonial house in the city of Malacca opened to the public Monday as the "Cuba House", a new multifunctional space that is another link in the bridge of frienship Malaysia-Cuba.
Visual arts, movies, music, dance and history are among the main attractions of the House, seen as a mutual gift on the 50th anniversary of Malaysian independence.
Opened June 12 in the presence of Malacca Minister Chief of State Mohd Ali Rustam and Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia Pedro Monzon, the place is a permanent space to promote Cuban identity in this nation.
