Cuba Book Fair closes
The 16th International Book Fair, one of Cuba's most important cultural events, concludes here Sunday, with a cultural gala also marking the 485 years of Santiago de Cuba's foundation.
The fair, opened at San Carlos de La Cabana Fortress in Havana, was attended by over one hundred international personalities, and had Argentina as guest country.
People in as many as 40 Cuban cities enjoyed the event, with artistic programs for children, and conferences where writers, editors, and related professionals exchanged viewpoints on current Cuban literature.
Upon the closing of the fair today, doors for multiplied knowledge among current generations and intellectuals contributing to extension of culture will open.
