Dr. Wilfredo Lorenzo, Health director in the territory, stated that the appearance of sources of infections has decreased but that it can not be seen as a reduction but as the beginning of control and a better prevention work.

He remarked the need to join and intensify efforts so as to maintain the good work and improve results, an essential strategy in the present stage.

Dr. Rafael Figueredo, expert of the Health Ministry, highlighted the need to raise people's awareness regarding the fulfillment of the prevention measures in every center, house or place as the only way to prevent the entire community.

The support to the Energy Program presently boosted by the Cuban Revolution and the results of the 2005-2006-academic year were some other issues of the agenda.
