VP of the Council of Ministers of Cuba pays short working visit to Japan
The Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, made a short working visit to Japan, and he was received by the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Japan, Taro Aso and Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida. Likewise, the Cuban minister held meetings with the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Tsuneo Kitamura; with President of the Parliamentary Friendship League Keiji Furuya and with Tomayoshi Kondo, Chairman of the Japan-Cuba Economic Conference.
In the meetings there were exchanges about the economic relevance of the two countries and the widening and deepening of relations in this field, as well as the opportunities that exist for the Japanese businessmen involved in the Cuban investment process.
The delegation of the island was also composed by Isaac Hernández Pérez, Director of the Central Bank of Cuba and the Cuban Ambassador Marcos Rodriguez.
