The prestigious photographer Peter Turnley (Indiana, 1955) will open on November 13 at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Museum of Fine Arts) in Havana, the first solo exhibition of an American photographer since the Cuban Revolution.
Under the name of Moments of the Human Condition, it is a retrospective exhibition of 40 years of his photographic work through 130 images.
Turnley will also offer the lecture Photographing the Human Condition and will make the presentation of the text Cuba, The grace of the Spirit, on November 18, as part of the program of activities that the National Museum of Fine Arts has prepared for this quarter.
