Gymnastics athlete Manrique Larduet recorded the best performance ever by a Cuban in a World championship when he won two medals in Glasgow, Scotland.
After surprising the world with his silver medal in the All Around, Larduet, 19, finished third in the high bars event with 15.600 points, trailing Japanese Kohei Uchimura(15.833) and American Danell Leyva (15.700).
This performance gave the Cuban a direct qualification for the coming Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016.

This is also the first time Cuba wins two medals in a World Championship.
