Members of the United Nations (UN) in New York today reaffirmed support for the Cuban claim of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed for more than five decades, which limits normal development of its people.  
At a meeting of the General Assembly of that organization to assess the Cuban draft resolution against this unilateral policy, countries like Mexico, Colombia, Russia and Brazil stressed that sustainable development of a nation must be above any political and economic difference.
